Overview
The FEST, hosted by La Victoria Lab, is Peru’s largest innovation festival, where world-class keynote speakers including Joi Ito (MIT Media Lab), Garrett Camp (Uber), and David Kelley (IDEO) come together to inspire attendees.
In 2016, I was given the opportunity to lead the FEST's digital experience. This included designing the festival's main website, as well as a web app to allow users to register for the keynotes they want to attend. Additionally, I guided an external development team through the implementation process.

Results:
- Democratised the experience by allowing attendees to select in advance which keynotes to attend on a first-come, first-served basis
- High completion rate of 92% in the registration process
- Given its success the on launch, I was asked to lead the project for three subsequent years
The Challenge
The primary challenge was to enable over a thousand users to simultaneously register for the talks they wished to attend, providing real-time availability. Furthermore, once registered, users needed a platform to network and connect with fellow attendees.
